External Monitors
Whether you’re working or gaming, the Dock Pro 100 gives you a host of different options for connecting to larger external displays. The DisplayPort and HDMI port each support displays up to 4K resolution, and the VGA port supports displays up to 1080p. Depending on your operating system, you can setup one or two displays in different configurations.
With Windows 10 you can connect a single monitor or create a dual monitor setup. For a single monitor you can use either HDMI, DisplayPort, or VGA. For dual monitors, you must use both the HDMI and DisplayPort. In a dual monitor setup the docking station support up to 1080p resolution for each monitor. With either option you can mirror your current notebook’s desktop or extend it for more efficient multitasking. If you have a MacBook or Chromeboook, you can only extend your desktop to one external display.
Charge While Docked
On the back of the docking station is a USB Type-C pass-through port. This lets you connect your notebook’s USB Type-C AC power adapter to recharge both your laptop and connected devices while docked. The port utilizes Power Delivery 3.0 technology to transfer up to 100W of power. Please note that your laptop can only receive a maximum of 85W. 15W is deducted from the maximum for the docking station.
Slim & Stable Design
The docking station is wedge-shaped and meant to sit underneath your notebook. The non-slip silicone rubber pad keeps your computer stable as you work. The tilted angle of the dock provides an enhanced, ergonomic typing experience, which is meant to relieve strain on your hands and wrists.
